Adaptive HPC - the next generation of HPC workload and systems management
Abstract: Virtual machines, dynamic provisioning, adaptive storage and adaptive network management are no longer in the realm of future 'what if' wizardry. Production deployments are rolling out now at massive scale with immediate benefits in power consumption, system agility, security, and workload isolation. Combining the power of open source solutions with intelligent management allows these benefits to be delivered to end-users transparently resulting in a new generation of clusters capable of adapting in real-time to changing workload needs.
